How Do I Manage Uploading Permissions For Appendices?

Once you create a project with its documents, you're able to add appendices to each document. You can also create appendix slots at template level, where users need to upload specific appendices to each document or project when drafting. See how to work with appendices in Precisely.

By default, only Admin and Manager users are allowed to work with appendices. See all user roles in Precisely.

To enable a more flexible workflow, there are two Uploading permissions settings for appendices:

  1. Allow members to upload appendices 
    This setting allows Member users to work with appendices in projects, including adding, reordering, and deleting files.
  2. Allow uploads of appendices until final approval or signing*
    This setting allows users to upload appendices until final approval is requested, or when signing is requested in projects where there are no final approvals. 

*When a project has completed initial approvals, it is not possible to manage appendices unless the Allow uploads of appendices until final approval or signing toggle is enabled. 

NOTE:

  • If there are no approvals on a project, appendices can be modified until the document is sent for signing.
