Change the signing provider for your organization
Admins can change the default signing provider for their organization.
To change the signing provider:
- Go to Organization settings.
- Select the signing provider or signing method you want to use.

Notes: You will only see signing providers and methods that are enabled for your organization. If you would like to add another option, contact us.
Changing the organization-level signing provider only affects new templates and projects.
Change the signing provider on a template
You can also change the signing provider for an individual template.
In the Signee settings section of the template page, click Change and select the provider you want to use from the dropdown.

Note: The signing providers available in the dropdown depend on the providers that have been enabled and integrated with your organization.
Change the signing provider on a project
Admins can allow signing providers to be changed directly on individual projects.
To enable this option:
- Go to Organization settings.
- Enable Per-document signing provider selection.

Once enabled, Admins and Managers can change the signing provider on a project by clicking Change on the document.

Allow only Admins to change the provider
If you want only Admins to be able to change the signing provider at project level, you can control this from the template.
In the template's Signee settings, enable the relevant permission setting.

Important: Changing signing providers can affect signee settings
Different signing providers support different signing roles and configuration options.
If you change a document to a provider that does not support the same configuration, any unsupported signee information will be removed. This may include:
- Signing method
- ID number
- Phone number
- Signee role
- Other provider-specific settings
We recommend reviewing the signee settings after changing the signing provider to make sure all required information is still configured correctly.
