Signing providers and methods in Precisely

Learn more about signing providers and methods that can be used when signing Precisely contracts

All Precisely plans include unlimited use of Dropbox Sign, our default signing provider. We also offer several other signing integrations and methods to suit different signing and authentication needs.

✍️ In-person signing — Dropbox Sign

The Precisely + Dropbox Sign integration allows contracts to be signed directly on your device, without sending emails to signees. This is ideal for in-person signing on devices such as an iPad or tablet. Learn more about in-person signing.

 

✍️ Scrive

Precisely + Scrive integration is a great option for customers who want to keep data processing within the European Union 🇪🇺 and access additional signing and security features.

Scrive supports several signing methods, including:

Scrive also supports mixed signing methods, allowing you to choose a different authentication method for each signee. You can also use authentication to view and assign different signing roles, such as Signing party, Approver or Viewer.

Note: Additional features are not available for QES methods using Verimi and SmartID.

✍️ DocuSign

Precisely + DocuSign integration is ideal for customers who already use DocuSign and want to continue using it when sending contracts from Precisely. An existing DocuSign API account is required.

With DocuSign, you can:

  • Choose the placement of signatures
  • Add signatures to the footer of every page

Precisely supports both standard electronic signatures and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) through DocuSign.

✍️ Adobe Acrobat Sign

Precisely + Adobe Acrobat Sign integration allows customers who already use Adobe Acrobat Sign to send contracts for signing directly from Precisely. An existing Adobe Acrobat Sign account is required.

Adobe Acrobat Sign supports:

  • Flexible signature placement
  • Signees' initials in the footer of every page
  • Custom signing fields
  • Signing roles: Signing party or Approver

✍️ Universign

Precisely + Universign integration is a good option for customers who want to keep data processing within the European Union 🇪🇺.

Universign supports authentication to view, adding an extra layer of security by requiring the signee to enter a PIN sent to their phone before viewing the document.

 

✍️ Egreement

Precisely + Egreement integration is an option for customers in Sweden who already use Egreement for signing.

Egreement supports:

  • Click to eSign
  • Swedish BankID

You can also choose a different signing method for each signee.

 

✍️ Nitro Sign

Precisely + Nitro Sign is a secure signing provider supporting several authentication methods:

  • Click to eSign
  • One-time email code (OTP)
  • itsme
  • BeID / BeID Manual
  • Qualified Signature (QES)

Nitro Sign supports mixed signing methods, allowing you to select a different authentication method for each signee. You can also assign the roles Signing party or Approver.

Documents sent through Nitro Sign can contain up to 15 documents, with a combined maximum size of 150 MB. Each individual document can be up to 30 MB.

Nitro Sign also supports reassigning a contract to another signee. If a signee reassigns a document, the original signee will show as failed in Precisely, but the signed document will still be available and the project will be marked as Complete.

 

✍️ Verified.eu

Precisely + Verified.eu allows users to combine different signing methods within the same document:

  • Click to eSign
  • Swedish BankID

Documents sent through Verified.eu can be up to 20 MB.

When using Swedish BankID, the signee's personal ID number does not need to be entered in advance. They can instead identify themselves using a QR code or by entering their ID number when signing.

Verified.eu also supports standard Precisely functionality such as signing in order and signing reminders. Once signing is complete, the signed document can be downloaded from both Verified and Precisely.
